Shadow Dungeon Inventory and Stash

Quest-unlock pages, unlimited warehouse, and a sort hotkey that 1.0.1 actually fires.

Inventory and Stash Guide

Shadow Dungeon’s store copy brags about a massive inventory: extra pages unlocked through quests, thousands of items on the character, and a warehouse with unlimited pages for hundreds of thousands of pieces. That matches a loot ARPG with 100 million-plus generated items from 3,200 templates. Version 1.0 (August 26, 2026) added mouse and L1/R1 paging on inventory, storage, and talent panels. Patch 1.0.1 (August 27) fixed the one-click backpack sorting hotkey that did nothing at launch. Confirm the bind in your settings; this wiki will not invent a default key.

The game is single-player. Your stash is not a guild bank. There is no MTX bag shop.

Character bag vs warehouse

Carry what you need for the current map. Drops follow the map (Farming), so a bag full of early-chapter whites does not help a later temple. Unlock extra bag pages via quests as the campaign gives them. Park the rest in the unlimited warehouse. Collectors can keep legendaries without deleting them for a seasonal reset — there isn’t one.

Treasure Sprites pick up and salvage unwanted gear to gold. Different sprites have extra effects and can pass through walls. Patch 1.0.1 increased fairy speed and fixed auto-salvage. Let sprites handle floor spam so the bag stays for skill-grant pieces and set progress (fifteen sets per class).

Paging on pad and Deck

1.0: all interfaces that need page switching support mouse and controller L1/R1, including inventory, storage, and the talent tree. Steam Deck: with inventory open, X drops; with storage open, X sends to stash; with a shop open, X sells (Steam Deck). Customizable cursor size helps on a small screen.

What to stash vs salvage

Keep:

  • Pieces with weapon-granted skills (1.0 cites about 2,400, including auras, traps, conversions, projectile shields, combo launchers, summon accessories).
  • Set items that alter skill forms.
  • Rift chase materials after the story: runes and enhancement (talent skill runes, equipment skill runes, attribute runes, stones, Golden Hammer, Divine Mirror).

Salvage junk that has no skill grant and no set progress. Gold from sprite salvage funds reforging and enchanting. There are no codes that add bag slots (Codes).

Sort, then fight

After 1.0.1, one-click sort should work. Use it after a dense boss or rift so you can see skill grants. Then go back to the map in front of you — overleveling an old stash tab does not change that map’s drop table (Leveling).

Why extra pages exist

A generator with 100 million-plus items fills a bag in minutes. Quest pages and an unlimited warehouse are how OO Cat avoids a paid stash tab. You still choose what stays on the character for the next map: skill grants, set pieces, potions, and rift materials after the story. Whites belong with sprites, not in a warehouse tab you never open.

After 1.0.1 made respec trustworthy, sort the bag, check weapon-granted skills still match the new plan, then test on the DPS Tester if a hybrid needs incoming hits. Then return to the map whose drop table you actually want. There is still no co-op stash and no code that adds slots.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions about Shadow Dungeon.

How do I get more inventory pages in Shadow Dungeon?

The store says extra pages unlock through quests. The warehouse has unlimited pages. There is no published MTX bag pack.

Why did backpack sort do nothing at launch?

Patch 1.0.1 fixed the one-click backpack sorting hotkey not taking effect. Update, then confirm the bind in settings.

Can I share stash with another character?

Steam news does not describe an account-wide stash. Treat the warehouse as per save unless the client shows otherwise.

Should I stash everything?

Stash skill grants and set pieces. Let Treasure Sprites salvage the rest to gold. Unlimited warehouse pages exist so collectors are not forced to delete, not so you hoard every white.

How do I page inventory on a controller?

1.0 added L1/R1 paging for inventory, storage, and talents. On Steam Deck, X context-drops, sells, or stashes depending on the panel.
