Game snapshot
Nightmarish monsters crawl forth from the darkness, while the Demon Lord lurks beneath the abyss. Venture into the Shadow Dungeon, carve your way through blood and chaos, and forge your own legendary epic. Shadow Dungeon is a dark fantasy action RPG with a retro-inspired look reminiscent of late 1990s role-playing games.
Four classes, twelve talent trees, and hundreds of skills: master elemental magic as a Sorcerer, wield dual blades as a Holy Warrior, strike with precision as an Archer, or summon demons and skeletons as a Necromancer. Seven chapters, 160 maps, a campaign of about 30–50 hours, and a level curve aimed at 99–100 at story end. Max level is 100, then Paragon. After the story, Greater Rifts open on Normal, Master, Nightmare, and Inferno.
The game is single-player only. There is no co-op and no microtransaction shop. All loot is earned in combat. Treasure Sprites help with pickup and salvage. Runes and enhancement items include talent skill runes, equipment skill runes, and attribute runes.
